BIOGRAPHY
If you’ve listened to music at all during the past two decades, chances are Madeline Stone’s talent has touched you.
Her songs have sold collectively more than 30 million records. This award winning songwriter, with grammy winning albums , has songs recorded by artists all over the world. She won the prestigious Song of the Year twice and a Dove Award for “It’s in God’s Hands Now” co- written with Allen Shamblin.


Stone achieved pop success, while simultaneously placing her country songs with artists in Nashville. Such diverse artists as Neil Diamond, Wilson Phillips, Cece Winans, Natalie Grant, Roberta Flack, Ray Charles, John Williams, No Secrets, Kathy Troccoli, Anointed, Jaci Velasquez, Alanah Miles, plus cuts with Gary Morris, Shelby Lynne, Lucie Arnaz, Lorrie Morgan and many others.
Stone has also had songs placed in major movies: Stuart Little 1 and 2 and Oceans 12. In 2016, Madeline co-wrote 3 songs for the new movie “The American Fango” with Grammy winners Toby Gad and Debbie Hupp.
The legendary songwriter Hal David, discovered Stone, and through his introductions, got her recordings by Joe Simon and K.C. and the Sunshine Band. Hal became her friend and mentor. He suggested she take a trip to Nashville where she landed her first publishing deal with Tree International. She continued writing for Sony Music for over 12 years.
Stone is very excited about her latest project writing a Broadway musical.
Madeline is currently living in NYC and
as a creative music coach enjoys teaching keyboard/piano and songwriting in her studio and virtually.
